About the area:

With the ability to live in either Lincoln or Omaha. You have an opportunity to experience two of the great cities in the midwest.

LINCOLN

All the things to do, see, eat and drink you’d expect from a capital/college town . . . and then some.

Do the classics—a tour of the Nebraska State Capitol, a lively night out in the Historic Haymarket District. See a Broadway show or headlining musicians at the Lied Center for Performing Arts or Pinnacle Bank Arena. Do the family thing at Lincoln Children’s Museum or the Lincoln Children’s Zoo. Then make time for some surprises: discover the botanic garden and museums on the University of Nebraska campus. Taste around town to determine your favorite local breweries, wineries and restaurants. Find bison and a prairie ecosystem at Pioneers Park Nature Center. That’s just the start.

OMAHA

Entertaining. Diverse. Delicious. Historic. Make time to experience every facet of Nebraska’s largest city.

Omaha’s “largest city” distinction guarantees you a well-rounded itinerary. Tour a collection of museums celebrating creativity, diversity and history, from the Joslyn Art Museum to the Great Plains Black History Museum to the Durham Museum. Take your history lesson outside at the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail Headquarters and Visitor Center, where you can access the 3,000-foot-long Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge for views of the Omaha skyline and Missouri River. With kids, add visits to Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium and Omaha Children’s Museum. And for an unforgettable night out, hit the Old Market. Its cobblestone streets are lined with galleries, shops, breweries and restaurants—a taste of the acclaimed cuisine Omaha is known for. Mix in a concert at CHI Health Center, or theatre at one of the city’s many intimate venues, before kissing Omaha goodnight.I am text block. Click edit button to change this text.
