Emergency Medicine Coverage (FP or EM) Locum Tenens

We have an immediate need for Emergency Department coverage for a critical access hospital in central Iowa.

Summary and Highlights:

• Requirements:Active IA License and DEA, Board Certified in Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
• Contract Duration:ASAP – Ongoing
• Schedule/Shift: 12 Hour shifts, mix of days and nights, 12 shifts per month or 3 per week.
• Scope:Emergency Room Coverage, Lvl 4 Trauma center, Walk-in clinics capture the low acuity patients. So expected moderate acuities at a minimum. Respond to codes in collaboration with an In-House Hospitalist program. Psych: 2 observation rooms, Telehealth with Psychiatrist. Specialty consults with: GS, Gyn, Uro
• Group/Support: APP support – 2pm-10pm, 2-4 Nurses on-site, Tele-psychiatrist available if needed, CT 24/7, Ultrasound 24/7
• EMR:Meditech
