Exciting new opportunity in Juneau, Alaska for a System Director of Pharmacy with a passion for helping underserved patients all over Southeast Alaska.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Director of Pharmacy Services to join our team! As the Director of Pharmacy Services, you will oversee the Pharmacy Services at 5 outpatient clinics, 2 hospitals, 2 LTC facilities, 2 Opioid Treatment Programs and multiple drug dispensaries in rural clinics. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Directs Pharmacy Services at 5 outpatient clinics, 2 hospitals, 2 LTC facilities, 2 Opioid Treatment Programs and multiple drug dispensaries in rural clinics. 
  • Oversees 5 Pharmacies and provides direct management of Haines and Klawock 
  • Implements new Programs (ie, 340B, New outpatient clinic Juneau, Opiate Program Klawock, etc) 
  • Oversees warehouse for rural dispensaries drugs including all logistics 
  • May be required to provide direct patient care infrequently

Qualifications: 

  • PharmD or BS in Pharmacy 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role 
  • Experience with rural healthcare preferred 
  • Knowledgeable in billing and insurance

Base salary of 190k to nearly 300k!  Generous Benefits package with 26 days of PTO.  Full spectrum medical, dental and vision with all the trimmings. 401k and 457b. Numerous loan repayment options.  Relocation and sign on bonuses will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
