System Medical Director Psychiatry:  Up to $472K! | Loan repayment! |$10K for Housing

Exciting new opportunity in Juneau, Alaska for a System Medical Director of Psychiatry with a passion for helping underserved patients all over Southeast Alaska.

We are looking for a dynamic, energetic, and experienced System Medical Director of Psychiatry Services to join our team! As the System Medical Director of Psychiatry, you will provide direct clinical psychiatric care for patients focusing on diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders and psychiatric medical staff supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 60% Clinical/40% Medical Director
  • Provide the highest quality evidence-based psychiatric clinical care
  • Provide clinical supervision, coaching, mentoring, teaching, and guidance to psychiatric medical staff.
  • Provide psychiatry consultation and clinical advice
  • Enhance and develop new programs
  • Policy review/revision

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified Psychiatry
  • Minimum of 5 years post-residency direct patient care
  • 2 years of Leadership experience
  • Experience with rural healthcare is preferred

Base salary is up to $472K!  A generous benefits package with 37.5 days of PTO. 2 weeks of CMEs and a $100K retention bonus is included.   Other benefits include full spectrum medical, dental, vision with all the trimming along with a 401K and 457B. Numerous loan repayment options.  Relocation and sign-on bonuses will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. $10K for housing.
